On est à l'eau/On the water

Bon matin à tous,

C'est fait, nous sommes sur l'eau depuis hier soir 16:00!  Toute une expédition la mise-à-l'eau, c'est énervant.  Mais tout a bien été, le moteur a démarré du premier coup comme au début de la semaine lors l'essai initial cette semaine.

C'est un départ, vous vous rappelez de la proximité des deux autres bateaux?  You remember the proximity of the two other boats?

Ils approchent le bateau afin de facilité notre montée à bord/Getting close to ridge to allow us to climb in

Le bateau est présentement dans la baie de Grenada Marine attaché à un mooring.  La nuit a été mouvementée puisque nous avons eu droit à plusieurs petits systèmes dépressionnaires et quelques éclaires.  Donc plus quelque fois torrentiels, quelque fois légère, vent et petites vagues. 

Mais tout va bien, les hatchs ne coulent plus!  Nous avons parcontre découvert quelques autres petites fuites facile a réparer sur des hublots.

Aujourd'hui nous resterons ici et peut-être demain puisqu'ils annoncent de la pluie pour les prochaines 24 heures.  Et notre deuxième bouteille de propane arrive ce matin ou cet après-midi, island time.  Ce sera le repos des guerriers.

Good morning,

It is done, we are on the water since 4:00 p.m. last night! Bringing the boat to the water, what an event!  But all went well, the engine started the first time as the beginning of the week during the initial test.

The boat is currently in the Bay of Grenada Marine attached to a mooring. The night was eventful as we got several small low pressure systems and some lightning. Therefore sometimes torrential, sometimes light rain, wind gusts and waves.

But all goes well, no more hatchs leaks! We discovered some other small leaks which are easy repair  on portholes.

Today and tomorrow we will be here as they announce rain for the next 24 hours. And our second bottle of propane should arrive this morning or this afternoon, island time. Today will be a restfull day for the warriors....

Even super heros need a day's rest.
