Bon matin,

Depuis le dernier blog, je vous informais que le départ était planifié pour le 8 ou le 9 janvier.....et bien, nous sommes toujours à Port Louis Marina.......

Cause de ce délai?   Mère nature est pas de notre bord!  Il vente et pleut énormément, les vagues de 2.7 à 3 mètres et des rafales à 27 noeuds nous font hésiter à quitter la marina.  On est bien ici, alors pourquoi se casser la nénette.  Mère nature devrait se radoucir samedi ou dimanche.

Alors tant qu'à faire on en profite!!!!  Nettoyage intérieur du bateau, petites réparations intérieurs, lecture et jasing entre voisins.

À notre arrivée le 3 janvier dernier, la marina nous a indiqué le quai ou Carpathia devait s'amarrer et bien sur la coïncidence était que nous étions juste à côté de deux bateaux rencontrés à Whisper Cove!

Hier le 8 janvier un planning de souper à rapidement été fait afin de célébrer l'anniversaire de Hugues.  Quel festin.

Good morning


Since the last blog, I informed you that the departure was scheduled for 8 or 9 January ..... well, we are still at Port Louis Marina .......


Cause of this delay? Mother Nature is not on our side! It rains and strong wind causing waves of 2.7 to 3 meters and gusts to 27 knots we are reluctant to leave the marina. It' s nice here, so why bother. Mother Nature should calm down Saturday or Sunday.


So we'll enjoy the benefits!! Cleaning inside the boat, minor repairs inside, reading and talking withe neighbors.


Upon our arrival on January 3, the marina told us which dock for Carpathia and of course the coincidence was that we were right next to two boats met at Whisper Cove!


January 8 yesterday the planning of a supper was done quickly in order to celebrate the birthday of Hughues. What a treat.
